About

Hello! I am Riley Rothschild, a Second Life clothing designer. My brand is Fashion Slave, where it’s okay to admit you’re a slave to fashion.

I primarily design clothes for women, but I also dabble in tattoos and eyes. I am in the process of workig out some of the kinks for a high-quality skin and shape line that will be offered for a fair price in-world.

I love Second Life… The people behind the avatars, interesting content that other very talented people put together. It really is just amazing. So many different places to go and new and intersting people to meet.

If you’d like to chat and get to know me on any level (interested in just a friend or perhaps want to discuss designing or have an idea/custom fashion project) either drop me comment on the blog or you can get me: rileyrothschild at yahoo dot com.

Oh, hey! I’m glad you like it. Try Cafe Press for promo photos/text irl. If you are looking to do that in-world, then check out Robin Woods tutorial on basic shirts for Second Life avatars. http://www.robinwood.com/Catalog/Technical/SL-Tuts/SLTutSet.html

    Hello!

I came across your fashion blog, and was very impressed. You do great work!
After reading through your posts, I thought that you might be interested in a cross promotion opportunity with Ustrendy.

Ustrendy is a fashion community whose aim is to create various opportunities- including promotion, production, and cash prizes for many talented aspiring fashion designers, artists, and fashionistas across the world. This unique concept is one that I think would definitely resonate with your many readers.

I feel that our audiences share many similar interests- and a cross promotion, such as a feature on your blog- link- or editorial –connecting our users- would be mutually beneficial!

If you are interested- I would love to hear your ideas or thoughts!

Below, I have attached our press release.

    Thanks,
    Stacy

    Formal Press Release:

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to decide what the world will wear next, the way a designer like Versace does?
    Now, you can!
In an attempt to democratize a sometimes top-down fashion industry, UsTrendy is facilitating a revolutionary process through its website, UsTrendy.com. At this site, aspiring fashion designers can upload their designs for other users to view and vote for their favorites. The top-rated clothing is then produced.
UsTrendy is currently taking submissions for its Spring 2009 Design competition. The winning designer will score a $3,000 grand prize, including production and exclusive promotion and sale of their clothing line on UsTrendy.
The next time you need the perfect outfit for a fun night out, or you just want to look and feel fabulous, don’t fret! It’s UsTrendy to the rescue!
Now you can have a say in what you want to wear! It’s clothing made especially for us by us!
